Blizzard Assistant Captain Eli Fletcher Fletcher makes college commitment

The Alexandria Blizzard of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that Assistant Captain Eli Fletcher has committed to play college hockey for the University of Utah.
Fletcher, 20, recently concluded his junior hockey career after two seasons with the Blizzard under Head Coach Jeff Crouse. The Sauk Centre, MN native appeared in 90 total games between the regular season and playoffs, averaging more than a point per game with 101 points (52 goals, 49 assists).
His development was evident from his first to second year, nearly doubling his point total in his final season. During the 2024-25 campaign, Fletcher led the team in scoring with 61 points, tallying 31 goals and 30 assists. He delivered standout performances with back-to-back three- and four-point games, recording hat tricks in both, including a game-winning goal against the Mason City Toros on February 28.
As the Blizzard’s top scorer, Fletcher earned a nomination to the 2025 Top Prospects Tournament, where he represented Alexandria on Team Black, adding a goal and an assist to his stat line.
Fletcher is one of three players from the Blizzard to make a college commitment this season.
