28 NA3HL players selected in the 2025 NAHL Draft

June 12, 2025

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) is proud to highlight continued success in player advancement, further strengthening its essential role within the North American Hockey League (NAHL) family of leagues. Following the completion of the 2025 NAHL Entry Draft on Wednesday, June 11th, the NA3HL once again demonstrated why its relationship with the NAHL is so crucial for players looking to take the next step in their hockey careers.

For the upcoming 2025–26 season, 35 NA3HL players have already signed tenders, and an additional 28 were selected in the NAHL Entry Draft, setting new benchmarks for player movement between the two leagues. These impressive totals highlight the NA3HL’s unmatched ability to promote talent within the NAHL system.

No other Tier III junior league offers this level of upward mobility. The strong partnership between the NA3HL and NAHL, driven by joint initiatives and comprehensive development programs, has created a clear, proven pathway from junior hockey to collegiate play. Each year, more NA3HL athletes earn opportunities to compete at the NAHL level and ultimately secure college commitments.

"The representation of NA3HL players in the 2025 NAHL Draft is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of our coaches, owners, and most importantly, our players. They all have so much to be proud of,” stated NA3HL Director, Tyler Giwerowski. “As a league, we are honored to be part of the NAHL family, a network committed to player development at every level. The relationship between the NA3HL and the NAHL continues to be instrumental in providing our athletes with the exposure and opportunities they deserve. We’re excited to keep building on this success as we head into the 2025-26 season."

This ongoing success underscores the NA3HL’s unique status as the most direct and effective route for players with collegiate and higher-level aspirations. Deeply integrated within the NAHL structure, the league consistently advances both athletic and academic careers.

In 2025 alone, the NA3HL has produced over 100 college commitments, including 20 to NCAA Division III programs. Currently, more than 300 NA3HL alumni are competing in NCAA hockey, 20 of them at the Division I level. These achievements reflect the league’s dedication to supporting young athletes both on the ice and in the classroom, helping them pursue their dreams while working toward college degrees.
