Drillers forward Rys Sakrisvold makes college commitment

The Louisiana Drillers of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Casper Rys Sakrisvold has committed to play college hockey for Oklahoma State University.
Rys Sakrisvold, 21, spent both seasons of his junior hockey career playing for the Louisiana Drillers. Appearing in a total of 105 games, the Oslo, Norway native tallied 84 points (19 goals, 65 assists). During the 2024-25 campaign, the Fraser Cup Champion had a multi-point performance on 15 occasions.
As the Drillers were locked into first place in the Division to wrap up the regular season, Rys Sakrisvold and Louisiana didn’t take their foot off the brake as he posted back to back games with two points a piece. This includes 3 goals and 3 assists, including the game winning goal during game one of a three game set with the Texas Road Runners.
During the hunt for the Fraser Cup playoffs, he recorded three additional points, including a crucial goal against the Binghamton Buzz in St. Louis, scoring the first goal in their eventual victory.
He is one of four players from the Drillers to make a college commitment this season.
