Badlands Pulls Off Wild Comeback in Gillette

St. Louis 6 @ Peoria 5 (OT) - The St. Louis Jr. Blues battled back from an early deficit to edge the Peoria Mustangs 6-5 in overtime Saturday. Peoria struck first with two goals in the opening period, but St. Louis responded with three unanswered in the second to stay in the game. After trading goals in the third, Jace Jordan netted the OT winner. Aaron Sibert made 28 saves for the Blues, while Charlie Maquet stopped 39 for the Mustangs.

Alexandria 6 @ Minnesota W 4 - The Alexandria Blizzard overcame a slow start to defeat the Minnesota Wilderness 6-4 on Saturday. Minnesota grabbed an early 1-0 lead, but Alexandria erupted for five second-period goals to seize control. The Wilderness tried to rally in the third with three goals, but the Blizzard added one more to seal the win. Adam Holien made 26 saves for Alexandria, while Liam Fish stopped 23 for Minnesota.

Binghamton 4 @ Norwich 1 - The Binghamton Buzz earned a 4-1 victory over the Norwich Sea Captains Saturday, improving to 3-1-0-0. After a scoreless first period, Binghamton broke through in the second with two goals and added two more in the third to seal the win. Callum Keating was sharp in net, stopping 38 of 39 shots, while Peter Alfano made 27 saves for Norwich. Ilya Baldin, Jaylen Nurse, Andrew Jazwin, and Tannan Nenninger all scored for the Buzz, with Kolin Krizan netting Norwich’s lone goal.

Minnesota M 2 @ Mason City 6 - The Mason City Toros cruised to a 6-2 win over the Minnesota Moose Saturday, extending their hot start to 4-1-1-0. Mason City jumped out early with four first-period goals, setting the tone for the rest of the game. The Moose managed one goal in both the second and third periods, but the Toros added a goal in each frame to keep the lead comfortable. Anton Widas made 28 saves for Mason City, while Easton Lemke stopped 19 for Minnesota. Stone Resch, T.J. Gibson, Luke Gustafson, Grant Harder, and Dom Despenas all contributed to the Toros’ balanced scoring attack.

Austin 1 @ Texas B  5 - The Texas Brahmas extended their unbeaten streak to 5-0-0 with a 5-1 home win over the Austin Ice Bats Saturday. After a scoreless first period, the Brahmas exploded for two second-period goals and added two more in the third to secure the victory. Gavin Erickson stopped 27 of 28 shots for Texas, while Collin Rosenau made 24 saves in a losing effort for Austin. Nicholas Catalano, Tyler Conrad, John Scharf, and Patrick Garvey contributed key goals for the Brahmas, with Arys Perardi scoring Austin’s lone tally.

West Bend 7 @ Wausau 4 - West Bend Power cruised past the Wausau Cyclones 7-4 Saturday, fueled by a balanced attack and strong goaltending from Ben Glaesman (22 saves). Jace Fitzgerald led the way with a hat trick, while Quinn O’Connor, Andrew Sparacino, Tristan Hearley, and Armani Fisher added goals. Wausau’s offense featured Jackson Schroeder with two goals and Eiji Hofmann and Elijah Von Gunten chipping in.

Tulsa 3 @ West Texas 4 - The West Texas Wranglers narrowly beat the winless Tulsa Oilers 4-3. Kole Roth made 29 saves in net, while Cutter Daniel, William Andegren, Sven Svensson, and Caelen Cross scored for West Texas. Tulsa’s offense came from Charles Scott (2G, 1A) and Willy Fischer (1G).

Bayou State 3 @ Pelham 9 - The Pelham Prowlers dominated the Bayou State Rougarou, winning 9-3. Collin Jeffries stopped 16 of 19 shots in net. Matthew Hunter (3G, 1A), Marlon Derksen (2G, 1A), and Bryce Croyle (2G) led the Prowlers’ scoring. Bayou State’s goals came from Ethan Tierman (2G) and Henry St. Germain (1G, 1A).

Wisconsin 1 @ Granite City 6 - The Granite City Lumberjacks handed the Wisconsin Woodsmen a 6-1 defeat. Evan Geyen stopped 13 of 14 shots in net for Granite City. Ty Smith (3G), Micah Saxon (4A), and Gavin Sperling (1G, 1A) paced the Lumberjacks’ offense. Brodie Micah scored the lone goal for Wisconsin.

Badlands 6 @ Gillette 5 - The Badlands Sabres rallied from a four-goal deficit to defeat the Gillette Wild 6-5 in overtime. Gillette jumped out early with three first-period goals, but Badlands answered with four unanswered tallies in the second and third periods, forcing extra time. Standout performances included Maddox Harn, who recorded a goal and two assists for the Sabres, and Rhylan Olson, who added three assists. Goalie Gavin Peery made 15 saves to secure the win. Riley Schmidt and Dylan Peterson led the Wild with a goal and an assist each, while Austin Trieber stopped 27 of 33 shots in a losing effort.

Helena 3 @ Great Falls 4 - The Great Falls Americans scored the game-winning goal in overtime to defeat the Helena Bighorns 4-3 in a high-shot, hard-fought battle. Helena led through much of the game, but Great Falls tied it late in regulation and pulled ahead in extra time. Gavin Denis was a key contributor for the Americans, netting two goals, while Logan Mese added a goal earlier in the contest. Goalie Cole Murphy made 49 saves on 52 shots to secure the victory. For Helena, Austin Uecker and Lincoln Kearney scored, with Andrew Blake stopping 30 of 34 shots.

Yellowstone 1 @ Sheridan 7 - The Sheridan Hawks rolled past the Yellowstone Quake 7-1, handing the winless Quake their sixth straight loss. Sheridan exploded for five third-period goals to pull away after a tight first two periods. Vincent Leaf led the way with a hat trick and an assist, while Elijah Farris and Dante Hunziker each added a goal. Goalie Wyatt Knott made 49 saves on 50 shots to secure the victory. For Yellowstone, London Jett scored the lone goal on 50 shots, with Damen Baxter stopping 18 of 25 in a losing effort.

Butte 4 @ Bozeman 7 - The Bozeman Icedogs defeated the Butte Irish 7-4, pulling away with a strong second and third period after a close first. Lex Steckelberg led the Icedogs with a hat trick, while Devin Bruns and Matthew Stamp each added a goal and an assist. For Butte, Jack Whitelaw and Loghan Weber each scored twice, but the Irish couldn’t contain Bozeman’s offensive surge. Goalie Russell Newman made 26 saves on 30 shots to secure the win, while Matteo MacDonald stopped 28 of 33 for the Irish.
