Atlanta 0 @ Bayou State 5 - The first period saw back-and-forth play, but neither team was able to break through. The Bayou State Rougarou struck first in the final minutes of the second period. Ethan Tierman fired a shot from the top of the slot that slipped behind the goaltender, and Landen Crall tapped it in to give the Rougarou a 1-0 lead heading into the second intermission. The Rougarou took control early in the third period, scoring twice in the first minute. Braylon Loftin made it 2-0 with a shot from the slot, and Tierman followed shortly after on a feed from Crall and Nathan Daniels to extend the lead to 3-0. Crall added his second of the night on a pass from Daniels behind the net. Tierman capped the scoring in the final minutes when he forced a turnover at the blue line and slid the puck past the goaltender to seal the win. Maxwell Pelton made 26 saves for the Atlanta Capitals. Owen Anderson stopped 32 shots for Bayou State in the victory.
Texas R 1 @ Louisiana 2 - The Louisiana Drillers opened the scoring early with an unassisted goal from William Heskett, who beat the defense along the hashmarks and slid the puck into the net. The Texas RoadRunners tied it late in the first period when Skyler Tompkins moved the puck up the boards to Carter Gnau at the point. Gnau walked the blue line and fired a shot that trickled in, sending the game into the intermission tied 1-1. The second period saw back-and-forth play, but neither team was able to break the tie. The Drillers regained the lead in the third when Emerson Laroche chased down a puck deep in the Bayou zone and sent a pass to Brayden Pelcl, who tipped it over the goaltender for the eventual game-winner. Louisiana held on for a 2-1 win. Colby Lee made 50 saves for the RoadRunners. Owen Huisman recorded seven saves for the Drillers in the victory.
