\Wednesday Wrap-up: Titans Seal Victory on Home Ice

New Hampshire 6 @ Norwich 3 - New Hampshire had a strong night, getting off to a fast start and keeping steady pressure on Norwich from beginning to end. New Hampshire controlled the first period with four goals. Tommy Titone opened the scoring off assists from Liam O’Boyle and Gabe Williams. Soon after, Jacob Landry added another with an assist from O’Boyle. Evan Yates followed it up, scoring with help from Nick Brophy and Dylan Rakes. Titone closed out the period with his second of the night, assisted by Brady Plante. The second period began with Landry scoring again, this time assisted by Anthony Ayala and Matej Dvorsky. Norwich responded with their first goal of the game from Logan Niesen, unassisted, and added another shortly after when Jake Wilkerson scored with assists from Tyler Calkins and Matthew Johnson. In the third, Norwich kept the momentum going as Niesen scored again, assisted by Matthew Pavlik and Lukas Sobczak. New Hampshire sealed the game with one final goal from Talon Schackman, assisted by Matthew Anderson and Risdon Baynard-Fernhall.
Long Beach 3 @ New Jersey 5 - The New Jersey Titans beat the Long Beach Sharks 5-3 at Middletown Sports Complex on Wednesday night. The first period started with New Jersey getting on the board early as Ivan Korshikov scored, assisted by Eduard Gubeladze and Ryan Kowalsky. New Jersey added another shortly after when Brody Acropolis scored with help from Jackson Dougherty. Long Beach answered with a goal from Sean Bailey, assisted by Jack Baker. Long Beach opened the second period strong as Alec Dahlvang scored, assisted by Baker. They added another when Brendan Dalton scored with assists from Gustav Martinsson and Jack Plummer. New Jersey responded with a power-play goal from Jackson Dougherty, assisted by Brody Acropolis and Nicholas Carey. In the third, New Jersey regained momentum with a goal from Yosef Pievsky, assisted by Juno Ryu and Kowalsky. New Jersey sealed the game with one final goal from Dougherty, assisted by Brody Acropolis.
