NA3HL Announces New Team, Welcome the Minnesota Vulcans

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced the newest NA3HL team, the Minnesota Vulcans. The team will play in the West Division and out of Fogerty Arena in Blaine, Minnesota.

The Vulcans will play out of the home of the Robertson Cup Championship site, the Fogerty Arena in Blaine, Minnesota. The facility features two sheets of ice and athletes will have a dedicated locker room and a fitness gym. 

The Vulcans will be coached by Todd Sanden, who has won four Fraser Cup Championships as Head Coach and General Manager of the North Iowa Bulls. 

The Minnesota Vulcans will play in the NA3HL’s West Division for the upcoming 2026-27 season. The team will be one of six teams: Alexandria Blizzard (Alexandria, MN), Granite City Lumberjacks (Sauk Rapids, MN), Minnesota Wilderness (Eveleth, MN), North Iowa Bulls (Mason City, IA), and the Willmar WarHawks (Willmar, MN).

The NA3HL is one of only three USA Hockey-sanctioned Junior leagues and serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching, exposure, and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes. The NA3HL advances more players to the NAHL, NCAA, and ACHA than any other junior league of its kind.
