Sheridan Defenseman Harris Makes College Commitment

The Sheridan Hawks of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Sean Harris has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for the University of Montana (Missoula, Montana).

Over the past three seasons, Harris has been a reliable blue-liner for the Sheridan Hawks. The defenseman has appeared in 129 games and recorded 34 points. The best season offensively for Harris came in 2024-25 when he recorded 16 points including two goals and 14 assists in 44 games. 

This past season, Harris recorded 13 points including two goals and 11 assists in 42 games. 

“Sean was a player we all looked upon in big moments and big games every game this past season,” said Sheridan Hawks Head Coach JJ Santagata. “He was an extremely reliable and consistent defenseman for 3 years for us and we are excited to see him head to University of Montana and compete for a national championship and get a great education.”

The best performances of the season from the long-time Hawk came against the Yellowstone Quake in back-to-back games on March 6 and March 7. In those two games, Harris recorded two assists. 

Harris is one of seven players from the Sheridan Hawks to make a college commitment this season.
