Hawks Forward Hunziker Makes College Commitment

The Sheridan Hawks of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Dantae Hunziker has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Indiana Tech (Fort Wayne, Indiana).

During the 2025-26 season for the Sheridan Hawks, Hunziker scored 22 goals and had 23 assists for 45 total points. Hunziker’s was ranked in the top 100 scorers in the league.

In February of 2026, the Fairbanks, Arkansas native was selected to play in the Top Prospects Tournament in Plymouth, Michigan. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted talent from both the NAHL and the NA3HL. In two games for Team White, Hunziker recorded one goal and one assist.

Hunziker has previously spent time in the NAHL during the 2024-2025 season for the Shreveport Mudbugs. He appeared in two games and had one assist. Hunziker also played for the New Mexico Ice Wolves during the 2024-2025 season.

Hunziker had three games where he scored three goals this season. His best performance was against the Yellowstone Quake, where his contributions lead to a 8-3 victory for the Hawks. 

Hunziker is one of eight players from the Sheridan Hawks to make a college commitment this season.
