Minnesota Forward Salak Makes College Commitment

The Minnesota Moose of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Luca Salak has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Grand Canyon University (Phoenix, Arizona).

During the 2025-26 season for the Minnesota Moose, Salak had an impressive offensive presence. He played in 45 games and had 49 points across the season, including 21 goals and 28 assists.

In February of 2026, the Minnesota native was selected to play in the Top Prospects Tournament in Plymouth, Michigan. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted talent from both the NAHL and the NA3HL. In two games for Team Black, Salak recorded two assists.

His best performance of the 2025-26 season from Salak came on Oct. 29 against the Mason City Toros. In that game, Salak scored 2 goals and added 1 assist to help the Moose take the victory over the Toros with a shutout score of 4-0.

In 2024-2025, Salak played for the Mason City Toros. His improvement in the league was evident, as his season with the Minnesota Moose was his most successful offensively.

Salak is one of seven players from the Minnesota Moose to make a college commitment this season.
