Pelham Forward Fabris Makes College Commitment

The Pelham Prowlers of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Carey (CJ) Fabris has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Misericordia University (Dallas, Pennsylvania).

Fabris spent one season in the NA3HL. He played in 45 games and had seven points during the season, which consisted of four goals and three assists. 

“CJ was definiely our success story for the season,” said Prowlers Head Coach Kevin Kerr. “I've know CJ since he was a young player growing up and playing hockey with my twin boys.  I kept asking CJ to come tryout for the team, if he didn't like it, no hard feelings. Mr. Fabris has a great work ethic and always the first one to volunteer.  I am so very proud of this accomplishment to attend Misericordia University.  CJ went from a "beer-leaguer," to a final year eligible junior hockey player, to getting a great opportunity and scholarship to play ACHA D2 hockey while majoring in Entrepreneurship. All my best young man, you earned it!”

The best performance from Fabris came on Oct. 18, two goals to aid the Prowlers in a 7-6 victory over the Carolina Rage.

Fabris is one of five players from the Pelham Prowlers to make a college commitment this season.
