Minnesota Defenseman Albertson Makes College Commitment

The Minnesota Moose of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce that defenseman, Hayden Albertson, has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for the University of Oklahoma (Norman, Oklahoma).

Albertson has spent two seasons in the NA3HL with the Moose. His most successful season was the 2025-2026 season, where he played in 37 games and recorded 4 points during the season. 

"Hayden was a staple here with the Moose for 2 years. He appeared in 37 regular season games and all 3 playoff games for the Moose this year and recorded 4 assists. Hayden is a great teammate that brings a solid work ethic and attitude every day," said Moose Head Coach Todd Sanden.

One of Albertson’s best performances of the year came on Feb. 14 against the Minnesota Wilderness. He recorded an assist to help aid the Moose in a 8-2 victory over the Wilderness. 

Albertson is one of nine players from the Minnesota Moose to make a college commitment this season.
