Drillers Forward Erickson Makes College Commitment

The Louisiana Drillers of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce that forward, Isaac Erickson, has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for the University of Wisconsin-Superior (Superior, Wisconsin).

Erickson spent two seasons in the NA3HL with the Drillers. His improvement in the league was evident as he doubled his goals and nearly tripled his assists from his first season during the 2025-26 season. He was also a member of the 2025 Fraser Cup Championship winning team.

Erickson had 18 goals and 32 assists during the regular season, and he scored an additional goal in the post season. He averaged 1.16 points per game.

“Happy for Isaac and his commitment to UW Superior,” said Drillers head coach Chris Francis. “Isaac has done a lot for our program the past two seasons and to see him continue his hockey and education journey is amazing. Excited to watch his next steps and we all will be rooting for him!”

His best performance of the 2025-26 season came on Sep. 28 against the Atlanta Capitals. He had five points consisting of one goal and four assists to aid the Drillers in a 14-0 shutout win. 

Erickson is one of seven players from the Louisiana Drillers to make a college commitment this season.
