Norwich Defenseman Wilkerson Makes College Commitment

The Norwich Sea Captains of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman, Jake Wilkerson, has committed to play NCAA Division III college hockey for Manhattanville University (Harrison, New York).

Wilkerson spent two years in the league as a Sea Captain. His improvement in the league was evident as the 2025-26 season was his best season offensively. 

During the 2025-26 season, he recorded 30 points during 45 games. He scored nine goals and 21 assists. 

In February of 2025, Wilkerson was selected to compete in the Top Prospects Tournament. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted players in NA3HL and the NAHL. Wilkerson represented the NA3HL on team 3HL Black. 

Wilkerson’s best performance of the year came on Nov. 11 against the Long Beach Sharks. He had a four point game, consisting of two goals and two assists to aid in the Sea Captains’ 4-3 victory over the Sharks.

Wilkerson is one of five players from the Norwich Sea Captains to make a college commitment this season.
