Brahmas Defenseman Wilson Makes College Commitment

The Texas Brahmas of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman, Charlie Wilson, has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Lindenwood University (St. Charles, Missouri).

Wilson spent two seasons in the NA3HL with the Brahmas. His improvement in the league was evident as the 2025-26 season was his best offensively. 

During the 2025-26 season, he recorded 37 points during the entirety of the regular and post season. He had eight goals and 29 assists throughout 51 games. 

In February of 2026, Wilson was selected to compete in the Top Prospects Tournament. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted players in NA3HL and the NAHL. Alfano represented the NA3HL on team Gold and recorded one assist during the tournament. 

“Really excited for Charlie to make his commitment, Lindenwood checked every box he was looking for. They are getting a strong player and great teammate to add to their pedigree of success,” said Brahmas head coach Michael Rooney.

Wilson’s best performance of the year came on Sep. 17 during his season opener against the Texas RoadRunners. He recorded two assists and scored two goals to aid in the Brahmas’ 6-1 victory over the RoadRunners.

Wilson is one of six players from the Texas Brahmas to make a college commitment this season.
