Sabres Defenseman Lubinski Makes College Commitment

The Badlands Sabres of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman, Teagen Lubinski, has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for the University of Minnesota-Crookston (Crookston, Minnesota).

Lubinski was with the Sabres for a short period of time during the 2025-26 season. He joined the Sabres in January and remained with the team throughout their playoff run.

During the 2025-26 season, he recorded one point during the 16 games he participated in.

“Teagen was a late addition to our team last year and when he came in he made an immediate impact for us. He was a big piece of success and we wish him nothing but the best in his future,” said Sabres head coach Brooks Mitzel.

Lubinski’s best performance of the year came on Jan. 31 against the Butte Irish. He scored one goal to aid in the Sabres’ 4-3 victory over the Irish.

Lubinski is one of five players from the Badlands Sabres to make a college commitment this season.
