Pelham Goaltender Stafford Makes College Commitment
The Pelham Prowlers of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goaltender, Alexander Stafford, has committed to play ACHA Division III college hockey for the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa, Alabama).
Stafford first appeared in the NA3HL during the 2022-23 season for one game with the Louisiana Drillers. He returned to the league during the 2025-26 season and suited up during nine games for the Prowlers.
During those games he had a save percentage of .845 and a record of 2-5.
“One of two goalies that will be defending the net for Bama this season,” said Kevin Kerr, head coach of the Prowlers. “Proud of each and every one of these young men as they transition from juniors to college.”
His best performance between the pipes came on Mar. 6 against the Carolina Rage. He played all 60 minutes of the game, boasting a .926 save percentage and stopping 50 out of 54 shots.
Stafford is one of seven players from the Pelham Prowlers to make a college commitment this season.
