Steel's Noah Anderson earns opportunity at the next level

Twin City Steel defenseman Noah Anderson of Groveland, New York has been a wrecking ball for the Steel since his arrival. In just 16 games with the Steel this season Noah's stats have sky-rocketed. He has recorded 4 goals and has added 11 assists giving him 15 points on the season with the Steel. Nearly matching his point totals from all of last season.
Anderson's promotion comes at the hand of the Weyburn Red Wings, the Weyburn Red Wings are a Tier II Junior A hockey team, based in Weyburn, Saskatchawan, Canada. They currently play in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).
Weyburn is the most successful in the league in terms of league championships won. Weyburn have promoted over 25 players onto the NHL and consist mostly of Canadian players, meaning very few American's are given the opportunity to play in the league. Making this opportunity a little extra special for Anderson and the Steel organization.
Anderson also tendered last season with the Soo Eagles of the NAHL. The NA3HL is a league of opportunity and this is just another addition to help solitify that.
