Cleveland assists during the holidays
November 29, 2014
This week, the Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks of the NA3HL helped the Christ Community Chapel in Hudson, Ohio with their annual thanksgiving basket drive.
Members of the community and Jr. Jacks players put together over 1400 thanksgiving baskets for those who are less fortunate.
Players had to bring in donations from members of the community and put together the baskets that included: one turkey, potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, vegetables, yams, pie, silverware, among other traditional thanksgiving food items.
Once a basket was created, Jacks players put the basket into trucks that then delivered the thanksgiving basket to the homes of the needy.
