Rochester forward Sorokin called up to the NAHL

The Rochester Grizzlies of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Vladislav Sorokin was called up to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) this past weekend to play for the Austin Bruins.
Sorokin, 20, has been lighting up the score sheet since he joined the Grizzlies. The native of St. Petersburg, Russia leads Rochester with 22 points (13 goals, 9 assists) in just nine games. Now, Sorokin is getting his opportunity with the Bruins of the NAHL. This is Sorokin’s first time playing in the NAHL. He played in Friday’s 5-4 win over the Steel.
Sorokin (5’10/185) was recalled by the Bruins in time for their Wednesday morning game against the Minnesota Wilderness. This was the first action in the NAHL for Sorokin.
In a corresponding move, Oskar Stahl has been loaned to the Grizzlies. Stahl has appeared in two games with the Grizzlies this season putting up two points (1 G, 1 A).
