NA3HL Weekend Preview

November 30, 2018
The NA3HL Showcase schedule has been released and now teams can focus on preparing for the big event with games the next two weekends, including this weekend as 37 games are on the schedule.

There are a couple big heavyweight match-ups this weekend starting in the Central Division with the top two teams facing off as Milwaukee travels to St. Louis. In the Northeast Division, 1st and 2nd place also do battle as Binghamton hosts Skylands. In the West Division, 1st place could be on the line as two of the top teams battle in Rochester as the Grizzlies host the North Iowa Bulls. In the Frontier Division, Great Falls has two big tests as they face Helena on Friday and Missoula on Saturday. In the South, the Atlanta Capitals will host the 2nd place Louisiana Drillers. Finally, in the Coastal Division, it may be the biggest match-up of all as winning streaks collide with the L/A Nordiques, who are on a 10-game winning streak, hosting the Northeast Generals, who are on a 13-game winning streak.

All games broadcast live on HockeyTV.

The 2018-19 season marks the ninth for the NA3HL, which is one of two USA Hockey-certified Tier III junior leagues. This past season, no other league has had more movement and advanced more players onto play in the NAHL than the NA3HL.

The NA3HL is also the only league that has an exclusive NAHL tendering system available only to NA3HL players. This sets the stage for a proven and quantifiable NA3HL-NAHL pipeline as the NA3HL continues to make their mark in advancement of players. A total of 51 former NA3HL players played in the NAHL during the 2017-18 regular season. In addition, 24 more current NA3HL players were tendered by NAHL teams to play in the NAHL for the 2018-19 season.

The NA3HL also saw over 150+ college commitments in 2017-18. Almost 70% of those college commitments were NCAA commitments.
