Mid Cities edges Texas in OT on Tuesday

Thanks to 28 saves from Noah Kinsinger, the Mid Cities Jr. Stars picked up a 2-1 overtime win over the Texas Brahmas in the lone NA3HL game on Tuesday night.

Texas 1 @ Mid Cities 2 (OT) – Thanks to 28 saves from Noah Kinsinger, the Mid Cities Jr. Stars picked up a 2-1 overtime win over the Texas Brahmas in the lone NA3HL game on Tuesday night.
 
The game was tight throughout and went scoreless through the opening two periods thanks to the goaltending of Kinsinger and Brahmas goalie Thomas Held. 
 
In the 3rd period, the Brahmas took a 1-0 lead thanks to Seth Cushing’s 14th goal of the season with assists to Kyle Welch and Jonah Carlson. Mid Cities responded with just over two minutes remaining in regulation as Jonah Carlson found the back of the next for his 4th goal of the season with assists to Brady Nelson and Nick Solema.
 
In the overtime, Solema scored the game-winner with just over a minute remaining for his 16th goal of the season with assists to Ryan Muckensturm and Dawson Plott.
 
Held would end up make 25 saves in the OT loss.
