Milwaukee 3 @ St. Louis 6 - The St. Louis Jr. Blues got to a quick start in their 6-3 win over Milwaukee by netting three unanswered first period goals.  Jr. Blues player Sean Hofstetter had a breakout first game of the season by burying three goals and capturing an assist on the night.  Along with Hofstetter, Joey Solimando also had a multipoint game with a goal and two assists.  Seamus Campbell and Van Kraemer both lit the lamp once in St. Louis’s victory as well.  Milwaukee players Oliver Nienas, Logan Drolet, and Nathan Walker can still hold each of their heads high after finding the back of the net for their first time in the 2019-20 season, despite the overall outcome of Sunday’s game. Brett Tome made 19 saves in the win, while Joey Greilich made 53 saves in the loss.

Lewiston/Auburn 4 @ Northeast 2 – L/A struck first and last in Sunday’s battle with Northeast, which guaranteed their victory.  Connor Kennedy led the way for the Nordiques with a highly productive offensive performance.  Kennedy had a point on every score and launched his domination by netting a hat trick on L/A’s first three goals.  In the back and forth battle, Northeast player Carson Asper responded by tying the game 1-1 with an early second period goal and went on to assist the Generals’ final goal late in the second as well.  Kolye Bankauskas buried said late second period goal and cut the Nordiques’ lead to 3-2 heading into the final period.  To secure the win for the Nordiques, Michael Keller lit the lamp with the only third period goal, which was assisted by Kennedy, ending the game with a final score of 4-2. Jason St. Pierre made 52 saves in the win, while John Driscoll made 27 saves in the loss.
