Knights forward Kervinen makes NCAA commitment

The New England Knights of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Leevi Kervinen has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Anna Maria College.
 
Kervinen, 20, just completed his fourth and final season playing in the NA3HL. The 5’10/190 lbs. native of Lappeenranta, Finland, had another strong offensive season in 2019-20, recording 39 points (14 goals, 25 assists) in 44 games played.
 
Kervinen enjoyed a successful four-year career in the NA3HL, which saw him finish 24th in all-time league scoring with 170 points and also 24th in games played with 168.
 
Kervinen broke into the league during the 2016-17 season with the East Coast Minutemen, recording 36 points in 41 games during his rookie season.
 
The next two seasons were spent with the Cape Cod Islanders, where Kervinen put up his best numbers, posting 95 points in 83 career games.
 
Kervinen also played in back-to-back NA3HL Top Prospects Tournaments in 2018 and again in 2019.
