The Granite City Lumberjacks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Luke Delzer has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Gustavus Adolphus College.

Delzer, 19, just finished his second season of playing junior hockey, which was spent between the NA3HL and NAHL. The 6’2/194 lbs. native of Rogers, MN, appeared in 39 regular season games for the Lumberjacks during the 2022-23 regular season and recorded 33 points (15 goals, 18 assists).

In eight Fraser Cup Playoff games, Delzer recorded an additional seven points, helping Granite City to its 4th Fraser Cup National Championship.

“We are thrilled to see Luke commit to Gustavus. He’s going to make a huge impact there. He’s a kid who has a tremendous amount of skill and vision. He was big for us come down the stretch to claim the Fraser Cup. We can’t wait to see what he can do at the next level,” said Co-Head Coach DJ Vold.

In 47 career regular season games with Granite City, Delzer recorded 48 points and added 14 points in 16 career playoff games.

Delzer also played in 31 career NAHL games between the El Paso Rhinos, Minnesota Magicians, and Jamestown Rebels and recorded eight points.
