NA3HL announces monthly player awards for September

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced its monthly player awards for the month of September. The Forward of the Month is Bodie Shepardson of the Bozeman Icedogs. The Defenseman of the Month is Garrett Bogan of the Helena Bighorns. The Goaltender of the Month is Krzystof Jakubowski of the Texas RoadRunners. Only players who are nominated by their respective teams are considered for the NA3HL monthly awards.

 

Bauer Hockey NA3HL Forward of the Month: Bodie Shepardson, Bozeman Icedogs

Bozeman Icedogs forward Bodie Shepardson lit the scoresheet over the month of September playing in 6 games. The Livingston, MT native totaled 17 points that included 9 goals and 8 assists for the Icedogs. Shepardson is in his second year with Bozeman and has appeared in 48 games in a Icedogs sweater where he’s recorded 55 points.

Bauer Hockey NA3HL Defenseman of the Month: Garrett Bogan, Helena Bighorns

Helena defenseman Garrett Bogan earned the Defenseman of the Month title after totaling 8 points in 6 games during the month of September. Bogan netted 3 goals, 2 two on the power-play, and dished out 5 assists while keeping a +4 plus/minus. Bogan is in his second year with the Bighorns where he’s appeared in 51 games and has compiled 23 points.

True Hockey NA3HL Goaltender of the Month: Krzysztof Jakubowski, Texas RoadRunners

RoadRunners goaltender Krzysztof Jakubowski was fantastic in net during the month of September with a perfect 5-0 record. Jakubowski turned away 147 of the 152 shots he faced over the course of 5 games. The Austin, TX native combined for a 1.00 GAA, .967 SV% over the month.
