NA3HL East Showcase set to go on Monday

November 13, 2023

The 2023 North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) East Division Showcase is ready to face-off and takes place on Monday, November 13th at the Tri-Town Ice Arena in Hooksett, New Hampshire, home of the NAHL and NA3HL’s New Hampshire Mountain Kings.

Showcase Schedule on Monday, November 13 (all times Eastern)

12:00pm - New Jersey Titans @ New Hampshire Jr. Mountain Kings (Tri-Town Frew Memorial Rink)

1:30pm - Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks @ Northeast Generals (Tri-Town South Rink)

2:30pm Norwich Sea Captains @ Long Beach Sharks (Tri-Town Frew Memorial Rink)

There will be no admission fee for the 2023 NA3HL East Division Showcase and the three games will be broadcast live and in HD on NAHLTV.

All NA3HL East Division teams will play one regular-season game at the East Showcase. By being played on a Monday, the NA3HL East Showcase does not present a conflict with any NCAA or ACHA games in the area, allowing coaches and scouts to attend.

The Showcase will be played on the tail end and in cooperation with the fifth NAPHL event of the year, which will feature 18, 16, and 14U teams from the SHOW League. The SHOW League event runs from November 10-13 at four different facilities in the area.

No other league has had more movement and advanced more players onto play in the NAHL than the NA3HL. Thanks to additional and enhanced initiatives that have been in place for the past few years in cooperation with the NAHL, more players from the NA3HL play, practice, and earn NCAA Division I scholarships with the NAHL than any other league. The NA3HL also continues to make its mark and is one of the leaders in junior hockey with the advancement of players onto the NCAA. In 2023, the NA3HL had over 140+ college commitments, with over half of those being NCAA commitments. In addition, over 300 former NA3HL players are currently playing in the NCAA, and 28 former NA3HL are currently playing NCAA Division I hockey.

The NA3HL not only saw 63 of its players tendered or drafted by NAHL teams, but over 60+ NA3HL alumni played in the NAHL this past season. The NA3HL also saw 10 current or former players make NCAA Division I commitments this past season. The NA3HL is the only USA Hockey-certified Tier III junior hockey league and the only league that has an exclusive NAHL tendering system available only to NA3HL players. The tendering and draft pick process selections play a big part in the eventual advancement of players each season.
