Friday Finals: Sabres stay hot with 5th straight win

Butte Irish 2 @ Badlands Sabres 5: In the first period the Badlands Sabres scored three goals by Alexander Petrotto, Ian Vannelli, and Hunter Walla, and one goal for the Butte Irish scored by Luke Bouzas making the score 3-1. After a slow second period, we headed into the third where the Badlands Sabres scored two goals by Aden Cobbs, and Alexander Petrotto, and one goal for the Butte Irish scored by Patrick Crooks making the final score 5-2. Hunter Oger saved 2 shots, and Easton Eriksmoen saved 29 shots for the win, while Joshua Horacek saved 22 shots in the loss.

Austin Ice Bats 0 @ El Paso Rhinos 12: In the first period the El Paso Rhinos scored five goals, two by Nick Jones, one by Kyle Arias, Cameron Kim, and Joseph Gutierrez making the score 5-0. In the second period, the El Paso Rhinos scored three goals by Kyle Arias, Joseph Gutierrez, and Nick Jones giving him a Hat Trick and making the score 8-0. In the third period, the El Paso Rhinos scored four goals by Kyle Arias giving him a Hat Trick, Jake Sherry, Joseph Gutierrez giving him a Hat Trick, and Garrett Reagan making the final score 12-0.  Matt Loney saved 13 shots for the win and the shutout.

In the second period, the New Mexico Ice Wolves scored two goals both by Stanley Hubbard making the score 3-2. In the third period, the Louisiana Drillers scored three goals two by Jake Bergstrom, and one by Cheeno Gryska making the final score 5-3. Riley Burnett saved 16 shots for the win, while Pierson Haislet saved 13 shots in the loss.

Texas RoadRunners 4 @ Atlanta Capitals 3 (OT):  In the first period the Texas Road Runners scored a goal by JT Brugaletta making the score 1-0. In the second period, the Texas Road Runners scored a goal by Adrian Sanchez, and one goal for the Atlanta Capitals was scored by Brett Phillips making the score 2-1. In the third period, the Texas Road Runners scored a goal by Logan Motz, and two goals for the Atlanta Capitals scored by Brett Phillips, and Robbie Aranos tying the score 3-3. In overtime, Adrian Sanchez scored for the Texas Road Runners making the final score 4-3. Krzystof Jakubowski saved 36 shots for the win, while Alex Croy saved 30 shots in the loss.

In the third period, the Rochester Grizzlies scored three goals by Luke Sawicky, Lennard Habeck, and Isaac Flatley, and two goals for the Willmar WarHawks scored by Tyler Misialek, and Zane Irion making the final score 5-3. Riley Swanson saved 14 shots for the win, while Kai Girard saved 41 shots in the loss.

Alexandria Blizzard 5 @ Minnesota Loons 2: In the first period the Alexandria Blizzards scored one goal by Eli Fletcher making the score 1-0. In the second period, both teams scored a goal for the Alexandria Blizzards it was Chris Fotopoulos, and for the Minnesota Loons, it was Aidan Spenningsby making the score 2-1.
