Sunday Wrap-Up: Ice Wolves win 7th straight with three-game sweep

Willmar forward Tyler Misialek had a hat-trick in a 4-2 win on Sunday, which was the second straight win for the WarHawks.

Austin Ice Bats 0 @ New Mexico Ice Wolves 8: In the first period the New Mexico Ice Wolves scored two goals by Jack Arnold, and Trey Erramouspe making the score 2-0. In the second period, the New Mexico Ice Wolves scored six goals two by Ian Mohr, two by Braeden Whitesell, one by Liam Mooney, and Edward Gregorin making the score 8-0. Pierson Haislet saved 13 shots for the win and shutout, while Gorial Yaro saved 45 shots and Jadon Mammen saved 16 shots in the loss.

Willmar WarHawks 4 @ Mason City Toros 2: After a slow first period we head into the second where the Willmar WarHawks scored two goals both by Tyler Misialek, and one goal for the Mason City Toros scored by Dominic Despenes making the score 2-1. In the third period, the Willmar WarHawks scored two goals one by Tyler Misalek giving him the only Hat Trick of the night, and a goal by Luke McCarthy, and one goal for the Mason City Toros scored by Marcus Fritel making the final score 4-2. Kai Girard saved 35 shots for the win, while Devin Peck saved 29 shots in the loss.

El Paso Rhinos 5 @ Atlanta Capitals 1: In the first period the El Paso Rhinos scored a goal by Michael Sobaski making the score 1-0. In the second period, the El Paso Rhinos scored one goal by Joseph Gutierrez making the score 2-0.
